| Welcome to Lenape Valley Jr. Wrestling web site , a non profit organization made up of students in grades K - 8th from Byram, Stanhope, and Netcong school systems. Students are divided into three groups based on experience and age, Clinic K &1st, Novice and Varsity/JV. The purpose of the club is to introduce students to the sport of wrestling and gain a better understanding of the fundememtals. All wrestler are taught the values of good sportsmanship, work ethic, and importance of being a good team member. Our coaches strive to improve all wresler self esteem through the sport while at the same time providing a fun, enjoyable and safe learning environment. The club parciapates in two leagues, North Jersey Youth Wrestling League and the North Jersey Grade School League while also particpating in local varsity and novice tournments throughtout the area. |

| *****New League for 2010~2011**** For the upcoming 2010~2011 Season the Sussex County Mat Club has merged with the North Jersey League to form the North Jersey Youth Wrestling League. The league consist of 27 teams. The teams are broken up into two division the North and South. We will be wrestling in the North division. More details to follow as the season approaches. | Interested in joining our coaching Staff? In order to become a volunteer coach you must complete the 3 hour Rutgers Safety Certification Program and be fingerprinted by the Bryam police department. If interested please see one of our coaches for details. |
