| Welcome to Lenape Valley Jr. Wrestling web site , a non profit organization made up of students in grades K - 8th from Byram, Stanhope, and Netcong schools. Students are divided into two groups based on age, Novice for grades K - 2nd and Varsity/JV for grades 3rd - 8th.. The purpose of the club is to introduce students to the sport of wrestling and gain a better understanding of the fundememtals. All wrestler are taught the values of good sportsmanship, work ethic, and importance of being a good team member. Our coaches strive to improve all wrestler's self esteem through the sport while at the same time providing a fun, enjoyable and safe learning environment. The club parciapates in three leagues, North Jersey Youth Wrestling League, North Jersey Grade School League and Future Stars League (JV) while also particpating in local varsity and novice tournments throughtout the area. |
